PERSONLIGHED: Danny's the sort of practical girl who's learned to keep her emotions on the down low. It takes a lot to get a rise out of her, whether positive or negative. Her mind is logical and analytical so she is calm in stressful situations, but she has trouble trusting people and making close friends. She is terrified of water and has a soft spot for animals.

FORTID: Danny grew up in the countryside around Chaol Ghleann in Scotland, where her parents kept a small farm. She never spoke much with the other kids in the area and had trouble making friends in school because of her rather violent temper. She used to swim in Loch Dunnan every summer and was called “Kelpie” by her father, until the year where she almost drowned. Ever since she has been terrified of any water in amounts large enough to swim in. After that her temper quieted down too.

She spent most of her days outside, helping her mother with their garden or simply walking about. She graduated university with a degree in history and archaeology. When her father died she had to give up a job-offer at the museum and instead move back with her mother where she got a job at the Chaol Ghleann, the old castle, as a tour-guide. Part of the job was to take the guests through the castle-garden and show them the medicinal herbs there and tell them the story of back when the clans fought and the English invaded. When her mother got sick, she was twenty five and after the funeral she moved to England for of a job-offer. She had only just arrived at the university when the infection started and people turned un-dead.

After the outbreak she avoided other people because the few encounters she had turned sour fast. She got lonely and depressed after a time, so when she found a young short haired border collie, she decided to keep and train it. Her dog is named Ness. She wanders Europe living off of whatever she can find, plants, what Nessie brings of critters and what she herself manages to snare.
